Urine Crystals in Humans

Article by John Milton

If you ever had a cat or any kind of pet that suffered from urine crystals, you have seen how these crystals have put your pet in difficulty and in pain. Surely, you would never want that to happen again, right? You can do several things to prevent crystals in cat urine. The tips for prevention are not at all difficult to do.

Often without the owners knowing, pets will urinate continually in the same general location. The average dog urinates approximately four ounces per deposit. The average cat urinates 2-3 ounces per deposit. If you multiply this over a period of months, the amount of urine deposited reaches a magnitude of such proportions that even carpets and pad replacement will not solve the problem.

The only way to get rid of the bacteria is to introduce a new diet that is lower in the magnesium which will in effect produce more acidic urine. This will help your cat flush out all the unwanted bacteria since it is acid that can get rid of that. This is one way to reduce the struvite crystals that may be present in your cat's urine.

Putting drops of cranberry or lemon juice could also help. Doing so will help encourage your dog to drink more as cranberry and lemon improve the smell and taste of water. Besides that, cranberry and lemon are good sources of calcium which will fight against bacteria build up, reducing the chances of dog bladder crystals from occuring.

This is because the overuse of antibiotics has led to the development of bacteria-resistant strains which means that if your dog gets an infection or something else that must be treated with antibiotics in the future, the drug may not work. Add to this the fact that antibiotics do not heal the cause of crystals in dog urine, but only curb the symptoms with the hope that the body will heal itself and you begin to understand how ineffective these drugs can really be.

The three primary methods of treatment for cat bladder stones aimed at prevention rather than on emergency treatment are a managed di! et, a co nstant intake and output of water, and dietary supplements intended to introduce antibacterial elements, diuretics, muscle toning agents and soothing agents into your cat's bladder.

Such crystals can grow into full blown kidney stones, and even when small can irritate the bladder and urethra and form plugs to stop or reduce urine flow (which can lead to your pet's death). Low acid urine also provides a good growing environment for bacteria, especially e. coli transported to the urethra by your dog's natural grooming habits.

These meds, however, cannot just be taken. These are prescriptive drugs for bladder stones but not for bladder infection. If taken even without bladder infection, side effects may occur. Moreover, your cat may become immune to it that when she actually needs it, it does not do her any good anymore.

Its main role is controlling humidity. Silica gel also prevents product degradation.

change your lif with Gems and stones

Crystal therapy, also called crystal healing, gemstone therapy or gem therapy, uses crystals, each selected for specific characteristics or wavelength, to treat a wide range of mental and physical conditions. This approach is based on the belief that the body has an energy field that can be influenced by the placement of crystals on specific body points. Gemstone Healing and Crystal Therapy works with the energy of specific crystals to clear energy blockages, both in the physical and auric bodies. It uses resonance, ie one vibrating substance to affect or change the vibration or frequency in another vibrating substance. The outcome of a Crystal Therapy session, by a qualified crystal therapist, creates a great sense of relaxation and well-being. It alleviates tension and stress caused by today's hectic life style and aids in bringing relief on the mental, emotional and physical plane. In crystal therapy, crystals/gemstones of appropriate color and energy may be placed at specific chakra points on the body with the aim to energize and cleanse. Theory Gemstone Crystal therapy is proposed to assist with physical, emotional and spiritual balance and healing. According to ancient texts, there are a number of points in the body from which our psychic forces flow. These are called "chakra points."
