Cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude
Last night I had a great yoga session in my home. I recently "won" three free downloads from Yoga Today and Cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude was the title of one of them. It was a great session and it got me thinking of how easily I could change my attitude with this approach at any given moment. A recent quote I found perfectly represents this:
"Where attention goes, the energy flows."
So here are a few ideas if you're looking to brighten your day and change your attitude…
1. Keep a little notebook handy and write down at least one thing each day that makes you smile. This will be great to flip back through and read this list when you really need a pick me up!
2. Think of three things that you are thankful for in your life.
3. Think of three things that you have done for others. This will make you feel gratitude toward yourself.
4. Slow down for a minute, take a breath and make time to just be.
I did all of the above yesterday and am excited to begin again today. Remember, where attention goes, the energy flows…
