There is a growing variety of alternative healing courses available online. Some of these courses are in Aromatherapy, Reiki, and Hypnotherapy. Alternative Healing is constantly improving in terms of reputation and quality treatments, and now quite often, people are getting their certificates through the internet with increased convenience and low cost.

If you feel that you are naturally a healer and have the ability to help people, yet you need that certificate in order to start a practice (or business) then these resources are exactly for you. Here I will provide links to two of the most affordable alternative healing courses that I have found on the internet, each of which upholds their reputation as well as constantly helping new applicants complete the level of being fully Certified.

The first of these alternative healing courses, is from a website called The Reiki Store. They offer a Home Study Program to certify an applicant in Usui Reiki to the Master Level (or Level 3). The course includes mp3s and a lineage chart so that you understand how many teachers there are between you and the master. Also, this course will allow you to certify others in Reiki, as well as opening or starting your own healing practice.

Reiki Home Study Course (Online Certification + Distance Attunement)

The second of these alternative healing courses that you might want to enroll in is about Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is a very powerful model of counseling that also uses the power of hypnosis to trigger immediate and long lasting changes in your client's life. If you can establish a good practice, it can really be a great business with opportunity to do more that just healing sessions (maybe you will do seminars or corporate wellness talks?.

This Hypnotherapy course DOES give you the full certification to start a practice, and it also holds a reputation because it is made by Steve. G. Jones. I have to point out that this course is certainly under priced. Even purchasing a certification! with a Seminar would coast as low as 0, or much more. As someone who is certified in hypnotherapy, I can assure you that hypnotherapy goes much deeper than this simple intro level course. So, this course is perfect for the beginner (especially if you want the basic certification) but it's not really recommended for someone with more practical hypnotherapy experience.
