The Mitchell Hedges Crystal Skulls Convention At The Edinburgh Hub Scotland 2008

www.wcptv.biz In 2008 as part of my British HND Television course, my Scottish class were given the opportunity to film an event showcasing the mysterious Mitchell Hedges skull, notable for appearing in the latest installment of Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. We filmed a large conference event using three large PD400 DVC Pro cameras with a small team carrying vox pops outside in the main hallway of the Hub on Edinburgh's Royal Mile, United Kingdom. We also filmed a strange crystal healing ritual where everyone sat on chairs within a hall where the crystal skulls was positoned in the centre of the room. It is said that the sound of the healing crystal music can cure headaches and the quartz crystal skull creates positive energy. I have to admit I felt that it wouldn't work but it did seem to have some effect on how I felt, spooky! There are many mayan crystal skulls throughout the world which are human skulls, also known as hardstone carvings. They are not like the skulls used in Indiana Jones which wasn't human. They are said to be made of milky crystal quartz also known as rock crystals. Their origins take us back to pre Columbian Meosoamerica.
