If you're planning to turn to celery extract to cure your gout, how much should you consume in a day? According to experts, those who have gouts should eat three to four stalks of it every day. You can also blend the celery stalks with cheddar cheese since this is low on purine. If you want your celery juiced, make sure that you use four to eight stalks of it. In order to speed up your h! ealing f rom gouts, you should purchase some celery seed extract either in tablet or capsule form. This should be taken twice a day.

There are also some reminders for people who have gouts and are planning to take celery as a natural cure. Celery must not be eaten by pregnant women. Those who are lactating are also prohibited from taking these. Also, those who have kidney diseases must stay away from this vegetable. Lastly, those who are taking this and supplements must not expose themselves in the sun for long.

Besides celery, there are other foods that have diuretic effects which you can also eat to eliminate gouts. Such are cranberry juice, beets, cabbage, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, raw onion, lettuce, tomatoes, and radishes. At least with the natural way of healing gouts, you will experience no harmful side effects.
